Stila Glitter Eyeliners

Hi everyone!

Today we are going to talk about eyeliners.  Yes I know there are a lot of reviews out there about eyeliners.  However, I am not done.  I am talking about Glitter eyeliners.  For those of you who know me well, know that I love glitters and eyeliners.  So, because I love eyeliners and glitter, when they are combine into one, I have to have it and it is always a must have with me.  I have a few of glitter eyeliners from different brand.  However, one of my favorite glitter eyeliners is Stila glitter eyeliners.  It is amazing.  It is waterproof, smudge-proof,  bright, shiny and glittery.  I love love Stila glitter eyeliners. I understand the fact that with my monolids, nobody can really see it in my eyes when I put eyeliner on.  It doesn't stop me from loving eyeliners.  I love eyeliners.  I love wearing them on my eyes.

Well let me just show you the product shall we!

This is how the packaging looks like.

Stila packaging has always been about environmental friendly.
This is the purple one.  I know it looks blue somehow from this picture but it is purple.

This purple one is called Royal.

Don't you just love purple? I love purple.  It is just lovely.

This one is called Electric.

Isn't it pretty? I love it.  The green just so gorgeous.

This one is called Bora Bora.

I love Bora Bora.  It is so vibrant and pretty.

Now a test with the water!

This is how it looks before I run water through it.

I run it for awhile actually.

See how the color is not even faded.  It stays.  Amazing right?
It is so awesome.

Here is Bora Bora.  Gorgeous right? so vibrant.  I actually tested Bora Bora and Electric when I did my 2 HHF (Hip Hop Fitness.) It did not smudge at all.

Here is Electric.  I don't know why it looks a little bit darker in this picture.  It is actually a little lighter, not much just a little.

Here as you can see on my left eye is the electric and right is bora bora.

I should next time try to go out with this eye look.  (Different eye liner) I mean. LOL what do you guys think?

Here is a total look with electric.

This one, of course with bora bora.

/+

Well what do you guys think? I am so sorry I didn't have the royal with eye look.  I only have 2 eyes and I decided to use bora bora and electric this time instead of royal.  I could have used my husband's eyes but I doubt he will agree. Ha Ha Maybe I can try to persuade him during Halloween time because then there is an excuse for it to be different and in costume right? Anyway, which color of the three you like the best? I always have one of these three in my purse.  It is so handy especially when I want to use something to just brighten up my eyes.  I will put one of this baby on and voila, my eyes just look brighter and fun.  I know with my monolids, you can't really see it but I know I have them on and I love it every time I wear bright and vibrant eyeliners.  Are you an eyeliner lover too?

I hope you like this review and swatches.  Let me know what you think of glitter eyeliner.  Do you like it? or are you not a fan of glitter, shimmering eyeliners? Some people truly just love black eyeliners.

Well that is all for now.  Leave me a comment below and have a wonderful day! Thanks for visiting.

ILLAMASQUA 'TAINT"

Hello everyone!

Let's talk about nail polish today. Why? For as excited as I was when I first heard that I will be getting one, of course I will talk about it.  As I was trying to put it on, the thought of why not make a review and swatch of it came and so I did.

If you follow my blog, you know that I just received Illamasqua in my Glossybox. For those of you who did not know what I am talking about, you can click "HERE" to see what I am talking about.  So, because I am super excited about Illamasqua, I figure I will show you guys swatch of the color and my review on it.

Now, as much as we enjoy beautiful somewhat very hot summer, the season is about to be over and with that comes gorgeous fall with its pretty yet colorful leaves and cooler weather.

Well as fall is coming, the bright colors of summer will be replaced with warm colors such as brown, darker orange, taupe and many more. One color in particular that I received my Glossybox as many of you know is this pretty yellow tinted brown called Taint.  It is a pretty stone brown color with rubber finish.

Before I show you the color, let's just see the packaging shall we?
This is how it looks like when you first got it.

This is how the package looks like.  It has an open square where you can see the color of the nail polish you receive.

On the side of the box, it will tell you the color that you receive.  The color I receive is Taint.

This is how it looks like when you took it out.  It has a rubber cap with a velvety felt that makes it stay on your hand when you apply your nail polish.  This is meant to keep your fingers from slipping while putting the color into your nails.  The cap also has Illamasqua letters on it.  I love it.

The list of the ingredients.

I use two coats for it to look opague.  What I notice when I apply it is that it dries a little quicker than my other nail polishes.  It is not really too bad though.  Also, with this rubber finish , you are not supposed to put top coat but I did because I love the finish look of it with the top coat than without.
Here is the look before top coat:

See how it looks somewhat matte but yet still glossy.  This is what it means for it to be rubber finish.

Just a slightly different angle.

Here is the look after top coat:

I would say this is the closest of how it looks like during the day under the sun and outdoor.

This is how it looks like when you are inside a building. A little bit darker I suppose. Weird huh! but I like it.

I also add a little touch to my nail with Deborah Lipmann Mermaid's dream only because I want to stay with the beautiful summer weather for a little bit longer. Btw, mermaid's dream is so pretty.  My picture doesn't capture the beauty of it. Try google it and you will know what I mean.  It is just a gorgeous color.

My take on it: I am not a big fan of brown color.  Very rarely you will see me wear brown when it comes to nail polish.  I just think that it makes my hand looks older like mature, aging? Hmm I don't even know why I think that way but I just do.  The one color of nail polish I never care to put on usually is brown.  However, see the picture above on "after top coat," the very first picture? That brown I like.  I am actually very surprise at how much I like that color and today I kept looking at it because I just truly like it.  When I first put it on, I was a bit "iffy" about it but then as soon as I was done putting top coat, I have a big smile, I LIKE IT.

What do you guys think? Do you like it? Do you guys like it with or without top coat?  What is your favorite color in term of nail polish? Share with me and comment below will ya! I can't wait to read each what you will write or comment.

Thanks for visiting!

My very first Award

Hello everyone!

Today I want to let you all know about my very first award.  Gasp! (Remember my small (sipit) eyes grew so big when I read about how much my Ellis Faas cost? yea that's how big my eyes got and shocked I was that I got nominated) HAHA if you didn't see it click "HERE" I am so excited when I read my name being nominated (twice).  I am still very new to blogging and super excited that people are reading my blogs and actually liking it.

So I am being nominated first by Miss Lalaluna and second by Miss CiKey Kim.  Thank you so very much to both of you who have nominated me.
If you want to see their blog, pls do! Click "HERE (Lalaluna) and "HERE (CiKey Kim)

This picture is from Lalaluna page.

This picture is from CiKey Kim page.

According to what I read and was told, I need to share 7 random facts about me so here goes:

1. According to my husband ( I confirm this), I say a lot of "Anything and everything" such as if you watch my Youtube video, I will say, you can use this for just about "Anything and everything." HAHA

2. I am scared of cats.  This all started when I was 5, I was taking a shower and when I was done drying myself with towel (still butt naked mind you), I saw from the corner of my eye, this black cat.  I looked at it, It looked at me and HISSED.  I was so scared, I ran!!!(Butt Naked! yes thank you! You can keep on laughing Haha) It chased me and I just kept on running to my mom's room and crying at the same time. The bathroom to my mom's room was not even that far but I remember running scared shitless that It would bite me! It didn't thank goodness but I got scolded by my mom because apparently I was screaming at the top of my lung calling her! Sigh. Yea so whenever I see cat, you damn straight I will steer away to the other direction slowly. No running this time.

3. I am a coffee addict.  I love Starbuck.  Anyone who knows me, spends time with me knows that I have to have my Iced Venti Caramel Macchiato by Starbucks every day with perfect concoction too.  This is how my order goes every time I visit, I would like to have Iced Venti Caramel Macchiato with 1 pump of vanilla, 1 pump of raspberry, Extra caramel, very light ice, upside down. Yes I am that Beyotch according to one of my HHF(Hip Hop Fitness family, I will talk about them in my next post, just wait for it haha) I am also known for the Ice lady because I will also ask for a venti cup of Ice.  My coffee will last me all day so I want them to be cold at all times if possible hence the extra cup of Ice. :) It is that simple. Oh but if I am in Indonesia, then the order will be Iced Venti Caramel Coffee Jelly with 2 pumps of Vanilla because venti size in Indonesia is grande size in US.

4. I am scared of Centipede (Kelabang or Lipan) because when I was young (yes again), maybe around 11 or 12, in my Home country, Indonesia, I love sleeping on the floor (Tile floor. Because The Floor feels so cool on a hot night).  Well one night, while I was sleeping on my belly, I felt something crawling on my foot, somehow my sixth sense if you want to call it, myself, told me not to move and I didn't. It was so damn ticklish too, can you imagine trying not to move when you feel so ticklish. yea it was very hard but I didn't move.  I felt it kept crawling all the way to my thigh then it stopped and turned around and crawled back to my feet all the way passed my toes.  I waited for a few seconds and jumped up, turned the lights on, saw that it was Centipede! screamed at the top of my lungs, woke my oldest sister up and we tried to kill it but it went behind our furniture. From then on, I never sleep on the floor again.  My nanny at the time told me I was lucky that I didn't move because if I were to move, it will bite and sting and the pain will last 3 days.  It was in her case (she was bit once too)

5. I almost drown twice when I was little. Once when I was around 4 swimming in the river and got taken by the tide. Luckily I was hanging onto this big boulder and was able to be saved.  Second time, I was 7 and was trying to go follow my mom not knowing that where she was the water were deep, I just kept on walking and then bam, all of a sudden, my feet can't touch the ground. (I can't swim yet as well) Luckily, again, my dad saw me and saved me.  Oh my hero! Thanks Dad. Love you very much.

6. I love to dance. I used to go to club all the time when I was in my college year.  My girlfriend and I will go to the club at 10, dance our ass off until the club is closing at 2.30.  No I don't drink alcohol so when I was thirsty, I will ask the bartender for a glass of water. Yes, they hate me because water is FREE.  Dancing in the club was my work out of the week.  Now my workout is HHF (Hip Hop Fitness) LOVE LOVE HHF!

7. I love Volleyball. I play VB at this time 2 times a week.  I used to play more and I played VB while I was pregnant with both of my sons until I was 6 months.  Yes it is ok to play VB while you are pregnant as long as you don't dive for the ball.  My OB/GYN actually recommends me to keep doing what I was doing in terms of working out (in my case VB is my work out at the time when I was pregnant.) I stopped playing when my pregnancy reached 6 months because my body told me to stop, so I listened. Oh as a matter of fact, we just won our first CHAMPIONSHIP! Summer Co-ed League! YAY!!
Here is the pic:

From left to right: Carol, Kur, Rose, Mark and Michelle. We are missing Mike. He left before we can tell him we want to take the pic. Sorry Mike.

Well that is all 7 random facts about me.  I didn't expect it to be quite long.  Oh well.  Let's move on now shall we?

It is my turn to nominate 15 new bloggers, so here they are:  (in random order)
Ok I am fairly new to the Indonesian Beauty Blogger so I am having a hard time trying to think who to nominate just because they are all seem to be my senior.  :( oh what to do? August Month Glossybox

Hello everyone!

It 's time for Glossybox! OMGosh I am super excited about this month's Glossybox because on my Facebook, Glossybox has given us a hint that Illamasqua is going to be in the box.  You have no idea how happy I was when I read that.  I was ecstatic to the point that as soon as I got the confirmation that my box is in shipment, I literally tracked it everyday and checked my mail box everyday even though I know it wasn't going to come that day, hoping for a surprise.  Silly? I know but I can't help it.  I really want my box!!! NOW!

Well it is here and I can't wait to share it with you guys.  I did the unboxing on Youtube so pls watch it when you can, and if you like my videos, please like me and subscribe as well as leave a comment.  I read every one of comments.  It truly does mean a lot to me.  Your support is greatly appreciated.  Thank you so let's move on to the products I received in my box shall we!

Here is my Youtube link if you want to watch when I did the unboxing of my August Box.  I looked like a kid in a candy store HAHA

Here is my box.

I swear I love Glossybox box! Every time I look at it, I always say to myself this is so pretty!

This is always what it looks like when I open my box.

I got this one in 1.06oz so almost full size. Let's say $13.00

ILLAMASQUA  Nail Varnish   Price of full size: $14.00/0.5oz

My new found love.  Finally, I get to have you! Ohhh Illamasqua. Haha ok you can laugh that is quite alright! I am just so in love with this brand.
I first try my very first Illamasqua nail varnish at Sephora.  I actually dare myself to purchase a $14 nail varnish.  I returned it a week later without opening the box.  I did try it at Sephora so I know the color looks good.

However, I can't seem to make myself wear it because I kept thinking that is a lot of money.  I can buy a lot of nail polish with that. Hello Essie at TJ Maxx is like $3.99 and sometimes $2.99 if I am lucky.  Anyway, move on. I know I know I am rambling now.

Well the color I got is in Taint.  It is a perfect shade for the Fall season.  Not surprising since Fall is right around the corner.  I love fall but as much as I love fall, I hate it because I know cold is coming. No more short sleeves, flip flops and shorts.
I got this one in Full Size!! $14.00 YAY

ELLIS FAAS Ellis Lips  Price of full size: $35.00/0.095 oz

The lightweight and long-lasting lip products come in three fabulous textures; creamy lips for a matte finish, milky lips for a gloss finish and glazed lips for a touch of color.  They are paraben-free, loaded with vitamin E and blend into the lips leaving them soft and conditioned.
I got this Full Size too!! Awesome right!!

I love the color of this gloss.  It is so smooth and not sticky at all.  It has none of those funky smell nor taste so I am so glad about that otherwise I have to give it to someone else cause I am particular about my lipstick and lipgloss on their taste and smell.
The only thing I do not quite excited about this is the packaging.  It is on the bulky side.  It is like a pen but big pen. Ha Ha.

Here is the swatch of the color.  It is very light.  It has a golden hint to it, I noticed it in my picture.

This is my FOTD.  I just added the lipstick after I did the swatch and put it onto my lips and took a picture of it. Ha ha.  I was curious as how it looks like on picture.  This is on top of my lipstick "Angel" by MAC.

Well that is all for my August edition of Glossybox.  I am so in love with all the products I received in the August box.  I am still so giddy over it right now because I am loving everything.  I can't believe all the products I got.  It is pretty much all the products I can use for FALL season!! Everything. Totally.  From the colors of Ellis Faas lipstick that I can match it with my Illamasqua nail varnish.  Ohhh total Heaven for beauty on earth.

Eyes: Maybelline Color Tattoo and The Dream Palette by Too Faced.
Blush: Stila
Lips: Angel by Mac topped with Ellis Faas Milky lips

Well until next time.  Thanks so much for reading and visiting!

FOTD: using Urban Decay Skull.

Hello everyone!
So sorry about the delay in my blog posting.  Both my baby and I were very sick and I just couldn't even move to do anything.  So I just went to bed early which then got woken up by my baby since he was sick too.  Poor child.  I didn't go to bed until 4 o'clock in the morning I believe. The good news is whatever it was went away the next day! So, YAY!!

Alright enough rambling.  Let's move on.

I don't usually post my Face of the day just because I don't usually have time to do the full look on my face. However, today, I manage to do one so I figure I share with you guys what I have on.  I really love how it came out.  I am surprised at how nice it turned out because I was doing it in only a short amount of time because my baby won't let me have longer than 7 mins to do anything to myself hahaha. He is a little nicer to me today.

Anyway, this is how it turned out.

It is very easy and simple that it doesn't take a long time to do it.

These are the products I use to do this look.

Always start your eyes with a primer. I always use my original UDPP (Urban Decay Primer Potion) then I first start by defining my crease with Sultry from the nude 'tude palette by The Balm.  Since I have monolids, I find it is very important for me to do this so it creates that illusion to show off my lids a little more.
(I am so in love with Sultry in this palette! I will do a review on this palette.  Isn't this palette so much fun? Look at them sexy ladies) Love it.

Then I continue with putting Color Tattoo by Maybelline in Bold Gold.
Everybody needs to get this "color tattoo" in every shade. OK maybe not in every shade but one shade that you like.  It is AMAZING! It stays put, doesn't crease and easily blended.  Every beauty guru out there recommends this. If you have one, you will know why and definitely will agree with them.

Then after that, I just took my Skull palette, and use the green in VERT all over the middle lid with Sigma Shader E55.
Then take Sigma Pencil Brush and dipped it in TWICE BAKED (Brown) and put the brown onto the outer lid. I also used TWICE BAKED on my bottom lid.

If you have not seen this SKULL Palette on my Youtube, you need to see it, It is so pretty and ON SALE for only $12 (Can't beat that) Here is the link to my Video (Urban Decay Haul))

After that, it is all done, what's left is to just put an eyeliner on my eye and waterline.  I use Urban Decay in Perversion. (The blackest eyeliner EVER!)

TA DA!! All Done.  Simple and Easy.

So what do you guys think? I really love this look. I think I am going to put this in my "Quick and Easy to go Look."

For my cheeks, I use Argan Petal Pink.
For my lips, I use Guerlain (a sample I got from Sephora) and topped it with Urban Decay Lip Junkie Lipgloss in Wallflower.
Earring: Forever 21..on sale for $1.99 HA!!!!

If you like Sigma brushes which I love and use everyday, you can read my review on it, Sigma Bunny Brushes and this is the LINK to go check out their website.

As you can see from my list, yes I am one of Urban Decay Biggest FAN. I love love love (did I mention LOVE) their lines.  :)

Well I hope you like it. Thank you for visiting.
